1) Take Communion Every Day (Sadhu* teaches that the wine/juice and bread are indeed the flesh and blood of Jesus when done appropriately just as the scripture says, “This is my blood…” not “a symbol of my blood”

2) Read the Bible aloud (idk if always but at least in general)

3) Read the Bible on you knees with the Bible resting on like a pillow- just not the ground

4) Begin practicing meditation. There is actually a hebrew word for meditation that does indeed teach you to enter into silence and clear your mind of noise and clutter, clearing way for you to hear the quiet voice of the Holy Spirit

5) Try to stay awake longer, pray longer as was the practice of David and Jesus. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. This may be a part of crucifying the flesh and its earthly desires.

6) Fast and Pray, I think it was jesus who said, “when you fast,” not “if”

7) Set up an altar in your home- a private chamber or room where you can have privacy with God and set a time to meet with him every day and don’t miss an appointment

8) Sadhu says that when a family sets aside a special time every day to praise and worship him as a family unit, God immediately sets in motion providing for your every need

9) Pray for others more so than yourself till you no longer pray for yourself. This is like being in the Most Holy place rather than the Holy Place

10) Read scripture, true food before every meal. Even if only one verse. It honors God, can be a holy offering and sacrifice and is pleasing to God.

11) Fulfill the word of moses and talk about the word of God with your family (son) often

12) Before falling asleep, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any sins and shortcomings during the day and confess any of those

13) Sadhu says that every night when jesus went away to pray, he would converse with the Father about all the events of the day and then talk to him about what was to happen the next day.

14) Sadhu says in heaven its a common practice to bow in the presence of Jesus and if we are praying to him and desiring to be in his presence, we should also be bowing to him (on our knees or better yet, on your face). Sadhu says John the Beloved had callouses on his knees from kneeling before the presence so often.
