Jesus said that the Kingdom of Heaven would not simply appear; it wasn’t somewhere to go, it isn’t found in the afterlife. Rather, he said heaven is here, at hand; it is immanent and within; it is here already in our midst!
Were you taught to believe that Heaven is someplace good or redeemed people go to after death? That’s not what Jesus taught!
Heaven is here, now. It is within you and all around you. Through parables, Jesus taught his followers and disciples to see and hear and live with the knowledge, understanding, and wisdom of the reality of God’s Kingdom all around us.
John, the Beloved disciple, who did not die and is still alive today, who wrote the final book of Revelation of the Bible gave a vivid description of heaven and the celestial city in the final chapters of that book.
For years, I believed that he saw a vision of some Spiritual Reality just beyond the senses, hidden behind a veil or only found in some hidden, secret place far off in the heavens.
I have learned that this is not true! Heaven truly is here, now, all around us.
Do you know that by Jewish reckoning, the Sun we see pass through the sky has the same dimensions as the heavenly city of New Jerusalem?
Do you know that the moon has the same dimensions as the walls of New Jerusalem?
Do you know that the moon represents the gates of pearl of New Jerusalem?
Do you know that the names of the twelve tribes above the twelve pearly gates of New Jerusalem are written in the stars above the moon in the 12 constellations of the zodiac?
Have you not realized that the Street of Gold passing through the middle of the celestial city is nothing else but the golden sun that traverses the middle of the sky every day?
Have you not realized that the seven torches buring before the throne, representing the seven-fold Spirit of God are none other than the seven stars that move independently than all the other stars? And that these are none other than the seven eyes of the lamb that roam to and fro on the earth searching for those whose hearts are righteous, so that God may show Himself strong on their behalf?
Have you not realized that the celestial luminaries are heavenly thrones? That the moon represents Mount Zion and the throne of the Lamb and the Sun represents the throne of the Father, the Lion of the tribe of Judah?
Have you not realized that the emerald rainbow that surrounds God’s throne is nothing else but the green earth?
Have you not known that the sacred tent and tabernacle of Moses and of God was only a miniature representation of the heavens and earth that we live in today?
For example, the tabernacle of Moses was covered with black goats’ hair like the black night sky and so on and so forth.
As such, we live in the original tabernacle of God, heaven and earth, in which God dwells amongst those whom He loves.
The city New Jerusalem is here, now if you have eyes that see and ears that hear. Blessed are they who hear what the Spirit is saying to the Churches!
